Blow-dry · Waves · Updos
Professional styling can refine an existing haircut, build volume, define waves or secure the hair in a modern updo. What matters is that the look does more than appeal in a reference image: it should suit your hair length and density, outfit, occasion and personal sense of comfort.
01
Blow-dry styling with the right movement
Smooth and glossy, softly curved under, full of natural movement or deliberately voluminous: the direction and foundation of the look are already created during the blow-dry. Brush, airflow and product quantity are adjusted to your hair structure and desired effect.
A blow-dry can be booked as a service in its own right or as the finish after a cut and care treatment. Please mention a special occasion or a precise time requirement when enquiring so that we can plan the appointment accordingly.
02
Waves and texture without a fixed formula
Soft waves, more defined movement and a calm, polished surface each require different preparation. We select the tools, sectioning and finish according to how relaxed or controlled the result should feel and how readily your hair holds its shape.
Reference images help us agree on volume, parting, the front sections and the direction of the waves. The exact execution is adapted to your length and layers; the effect in a photograph cannot be reproduced identically with every starting haircut.
03
Planning modern, wearable updos
An updo can look elegant without becoming unnecessarily rigid. We discuss whether you want the nape exposed, how much movement should remain and whether hair jewellery, a veil or other accessories need to be incorporated.
For a particularly important occasion, a trial appointment may be useful. It gives us time to assess proportion, hold and the view from the front. Please bring all accessories with you, as their weight and attachment affect the technical plan.
04
Arriving well prepared for your styling appointment
Whether freshly washed or already prepared hair is preferable depends on the planned look. Ask briefly when confirming the appointment instead of arriving with a large amount of dry shampoo or several styling products by default, as residue can make the finish more difficult.
For an updo, choose a top that opens or has a wide neckline where possible. This protects the finished style when you change clothes. Please tell us before we begin if your scalp is sensitive or particular fastening methods have caused discomfort in the past.
05
Assessing hold, weather and price realistically
Hair structure, humidity, movement and the intended wearing time all influence hold. We build the style accordingly and can explain small touch-up steps for later, but external conditions cannot be excluded completely.
Duration and price depend on hair density, preparation, the desired complexity and any accessories. A short blow-dry requires a different appointment from an elaborate updo. Please describe the occasion as clearly as possible in your request so that we can reserve the right amount of time.
